Well the day started out ok. Myself and John M. Went as far as Pine island and waded around the flats in that area. Did not see any tails (or fish). As I was wading I noticed that the wind seemed to have picked up, so we decided to head in. It was a white knuckle ride back in my small boat, the swells were 2-3'. I hope that the others had more sucess. I hope the pictures post below.

Rick and I and new member Jim Fallon went to the St. Aug airport area, then back up to Pine Island an north, but never saw a tail. We had a bumpy ride, too, but not too bad...just a few splashes. The electrical problem was eventually diagnosed to be a loose wing nut on the cranking battery.

All in all it was fun, as usual, but I think the reds have become tired of the flats and are somewhere else.

Nice shots Bob. We also covered a lot of water; it was very high, too high. We had are best luck when we got out of the boat and waded into areas the boat could not reach. I had some shots at sheepshead and Bruce had several different shots at reds through out the day. Bruce did manage to hook one but it got off. We had a great time fishing in flooded conditions for a total of five hours. It's always an adventure when captain Mike McQuisten is leading the way and I would like to thank him for taking Bruce and me fishing; thanks again Mike.
