I purchase white fishing shirts. I have found that once they get dingy or stained I can take a box of RIT cloth dye and make them look like they just came off of the factory floor. I dye mine sky-blue, cloud-gray or navy. The logos and button-hole thread are made of a material to which the die will not stick. Therefore they truly look like factory shirts and pants.
This works perfectly with the clothes made synthetic material. The color stays no matter how many time you wash them. With cotton clothes the dye will not stay set for more than a few washes.
I took two old pairs of kahky colored synthetic fishing pants that were stained, dyed them black and now wear them to work. They look brand new.
Rit Dye can be purchased at Publix in the laundry section.
