Ready for a fun-filled day of fly-fishing education, good times, great food, and a FREE RAFFLE? Let’s get together at Deep Creek Fish Camp on Saturday, February 5th starting at 8:30am. This time, we’re welcoming back Master Fly Casting Instructor Dusty Sprague!

where?

Set your GPS to 1205 Pine Island Rd Deep Creek Fish Camp at the end of the Road. A little bit of old Florida nestled on several acres of salt marsh just west of Pine Island and within sight of the Intracoastal. The facility and grounds are designed by golf-course designer Bobby Weed and his wife, Leslie. It has a large log building with big kitchens and dining both inside and out. Outside there’s plenty of room for casting and smaller clinics on the sculpted lawns.  

Should i bring anything?

You’ll want to bring a folding chair as the lodge/lecture area has limtied seating.  Also bring your fly rod rigged and ready to upgrade your skills.   COME HUNGRY. We’ll have coffee and donuts on site at 8:30 a.m. Just after noon, we’ll have a sumptuous meat catered by St. Augustine’s The Spot Cafe. Later, we’ll start the Free Raffle of lots great prizes, capped by a ‘special’ Grand Prize drawing. The day will wrap up around 4:00 p.m. 

Member-Exclusive event and sign up

Members who have not already signed up must email fcffoutings@gmail.com, by Feb 2. Plan on paying at the event. 

The FCFF Annual Rendezvous is a member-only event. We’ll need a final head count for catering by Feb 2. Tickets are $30 per for dues-paid only.   If you’d like to attend and are not currently a member, please visit our membership page and print out the application.  Bring that with you along with the membership fee and $30 for the event. To attend you must email fcffoutings@gmail.com by Feb 2 to allow us to update the headcount.
