June 3 Meeting – Catching those Tailing Reds, Capt. Matt Omlor

Capt. Matt is a USCG licensed fishing guide out of St Augustine. While attending East Carolina University, Matt spent five years fishing in the coastal areas of North and South Carolina. After college, Matt moved to Florida and primarily fished the Tampa Bay and Mosquito Lagoon areas. He eventually settled in St Augustine and has been guiding this area for eight years. Matt also runs the Old City Fly Shop in St Augustine. It’s about one mile south of SR312 on US1.

He loves to fish and guide the flooded grass flats of Northeast Florida. Matt will be speaking on the unique aspects of flyfishing for tailing reds in NE Florida.
