No March Meeting
March 22 Meeting/Seminar Day Canoe/Kayak Day at Black Creek Outfitters
Instead of a March meeting, we're trying something different. Learn How and Where to Fly Fish from Kayaks and Canoes from our own experts. They'll detail the benefits of fishing our local waters via gheenoe, canoe, and kayak. They will show you why, and more importantly how they pilot these small craft to maximize opportunities in our local fishery. We will have boats on site for hands on demonstrations as well as a multi-media presentation.
Then Saturday, March 22, we'll sponsor a 3/4-day club seminar at Black Creek Outfitters where members can try out kayaks and canoes, try out some new fly rods, lines, reels from Black Fly Outfitter, lean fly casting, and learn how to paddle. The club will provide lunch. Come learn, paddle, and enjoy.

About FCFFFirst Coast Fly Fishers, FCFF, is family-oriented fly fishing club dedicated to promoting the sport of fly fishing, fly fishing education and resource awareness. Come to a monthly meeting -- you'll see why we consistently are rated among the top
Meetings, dates and speakers are listed on the meetings page. We meet at 7 p.m. in the Southpoint Marriott Hotel, 4670 Salisbury Rd (intersection of I-95 and J. Turner Butler), Jacksonville, Florida. Come early, if we have enough light, David Lambert and Dick Michaelson give free casting lessons at the hotel pond. In the winter months, others teach fly tying.
Guests are always welcome. Our members participate in monthly outings as well as free fly tying lessons, casting clinics, family days, classes, and seminars throughout the year.
Our year-end FCFF Banquet Weekend is a full-day affair where we bring in a world-renowned fly fisher as our guest speaker and clinic instructor.
On banquet night we offer a great meal, a nationally prominent fly fishing oriented speaker, and literally thousands of dollars worth of raffle and silent auction items -- fly fishing merchandise, guided trips, clinics, and related items.
Family memberships cost $100 per year. Youth memberships are free. For more information, contact membership chair Scott Shorber email.
